Meet Our Niagara-on-the-Lake Dentists

Our family practice is one of the only facilities in the area to be led by a husband and wife team of dentists. Together, Drs. Kevin Clark and Rebecca Zabek-Clark can provide a full range of comprehensive therapies so that patients of all ages have access to a higher level of care, affordably and conveniently.

Kevin Clark, DDS: A Third-generation Dentist

Growing up with a father and grandfather who were dentists, it was only natural for Dr. Clark to follow in their footsteps. After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2003. Upon graduation, he received an award for excellence in his class for achieving the highest standard of prosthetic dentistry.

Locally Born and Raised

A native to the area, Dr. Clark says he really appreciates the social aspects of dentistry. “I truly enjoy getting to know the people who come to my practice. They are like family,” he says. “I’ve lived in this area my entire life, and helping people I know makes the day go by very quickly.”

A Vision for Serving Others

In high school, Dr. Clark accompanied his family to Ecuador on a dental mission trip, during which he truly fell in love with how the profession could help better the lives of other people.

In private practice, Dr. Clark works with local Syrian refugees, finding unique ways to communicate through language barriers as he delivers dental work to the growing Arabic-speaking community in our area.

Even today, he and his family maintain their connections with Guatemala and Ecuador, and they provide necessary dental care and economic support to underserved individuals in those countries.

Changing Smiles, Transforming Lives

Some of Dr. Clark’s favorite procedures are complex cosmetic and veneer treatments. It's so vital to him that he can offer life-changing dental care to everyone that, unlike other dentists, he works with his patients to ensure that the financial arrangements are affordable.

“When people come in, they often cry when they see the results. It’s very rewarding to see the boost in their confidence and self-image.”

Rebecca Zabek-Clark, DMD

After completing a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and a Master of Science in Physiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Dr. Zabek-Clark studied dentistry at McGill University, graduating in 2010.

As a family dentist, she has undergone additional postgraduate training in advanced procedures, such as soft tissue therapies and bone grafting. Typically performed by a periodontist, these treatments allow us to provide a wide-ranging and comprehensive service for people who require dental implant surgery or have periodontal disease.

But that’s not all. As a mother to three beautiful children, Dr. Zabek-Clark has a special place in her heart for our paediatric dental patients. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping people achieve optimal oral health in a comfortable start-to-finish setting.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Zabek-Clark and her husband are both members of the Niagara Peninsula Dental Association. In addition, they both enjoy travelling and accompanying their children to hockey, baseball, golf, dance and ballet practice every week. They live in the Niagara region on a farm that produces viniferous grapes.

A Different Perspective on Team Dentistry

As family practitioners, Dr. Kevin and Dr. Rebecca have completed advanced training in several procedures that a typical general dentist might find too challenging. Rather than referring you to an outside practice where treatments tend to be more expensive, they can complete your treatment from start to finish. Due to their ability to offer enhanced therapies, such as dental implant placements, oral surgery and soft tissue treatments, you will receive the best possible outcome for your oral health.
